In folio; illustrated with a frontispiece, superb color compositions in the text and numerous frames by Maurice A4060, woodcut in color by Jacques Beltrand. Limited edition of 120 copies (no. 9) on Hollande. Stuffed with a letter from Jacques Beltrand about the delay in publishing the work (dated November 1911). ½ green morocco with corners signed CANAPE, ribbed spine, gilt title, floral decoration of small mosaic pieces between boxes, gilt head, publisher's cover retained. "Very fine and important illustration by Maurice A4060, highly rated" (Carteret). Provenance: Printed bookplates André Barrier and Janine Barrier.
