Photographs [MILITARIA - CHÂTEAU de BONNELLES - DUCHESSE d'UZÈS] Photographic album of prints made at the Château de Bonnelles during the First World War. During the war, the château was transformed into an annex of Rambouillet's Hôpital de Grande Surgery n°34. The Duchess worked as a nurse there. Album with 65 photos (medium format 14x9 cm), correctly exposed. Some photos captioned, some missing. Postcard format, most captioned in pencil on the back or bottom of the reservations. Adhesively bound, no cover, as is. Possibly from the Château de Bonnelles, once owned by the Duchesse d'Uzès and used as a military hospital during WWI.
