CORTE (Rocco) or CORTIUS Rochus Tractatus Perutilis et Quotidianus de Jure Patronatus clarissimi utriusque censure doctoris domini Rochi de Curte [Lyon], Vincent de Portonariis, 1532. In-8: 8f., LXXXVIIIf. Old handwritten notes in ink in margins. Slight light banding at corner head of a few leaves. A short-margined copy at the head. Modern reused vellum binding, handwritten title on spine, renewed endpapers. A collection of laws concerning the patronage of Church members, the granting of privileges, land and property. Originally published in 1506, Rochus Curtius' commentary was a standard work on the subject until the 17th century.
