FLEURY (Claude), abbé Ecclesiastical history. Paris, Emery ; Saugrain ; Martin, 1722. 36 volumes in-4 (not collated). Contemporary speckled fawn calf, spine ribbed and decorated, red (or fawn for some volumes) titles and endpapers, some headband restorations, cold fillet framing the boards, gilt roulette on the edges, red speckled edges. A good copy with good margins. This Histoire ecclésiastique is Abbé Fleury's major work, on which he spent 30 years, and which first appeared in 20 volumes. Provenance: Ex-dono D.
