Amsterdam, Mortier, 1740. In-12: 1f., XXVI, 279pp. illustrated with a frontispiece portrait and 5 folding plates (including a map of the Bay of Rio). Contemporary fawn basane, spine ribbed and decorated, title page missing, headband frayed, gilt roulette on edges, corners dulled, rubbed and with minor defects, marbled edges.
