Text ruled, numerous old annotations in margins. Contemporary glazed fawn calf, spine ribbed, gilt title and tomaisons, small diamond-shaped irons between boxes, spines split, rubbing on headpieces, gilt diamond-shaped medallion at center of boards, double gilt fillet with irons in spandrels framing boards, epidermis, small leather chips, gilt edges. The finest edition of these chronicles (Brunet III, 1832).
