½ midnight blue calf with fillets corners signed CHAMPS, spine ribbed and decorated. A fine copy.
Rare first edition. Louise Éléonor de La Tour du Pil, baronne de Warens, made famous by her love affair with Jean Jacques Rousseau. Born in 1700, she died in 1764.
