4/4 SIZE VIOLIN OF FRENCH ORIGIN - Lot 116
4/4 SIZE VIOLIN OF FRENCH ORIGIN Made in Mirecourt in the second half of the 19th century, almost certainly by the firm of "Jérôme Thibouville Lamy", for the violin maker "Sébastien Vuillaume élève de son oncle, Paris Boulevard Bonne-Nouvelle, 27 Année 1863 S+V". Red-brown in color, size 356 m/m, the heel is fractured and the neck unstuck, but apart from this incident, the chest is in generally good condition to date, and is accompanied by a violin study bow.
