"Mare and Foal", the model designed circa [1907], our proof numbered 6.
Sculpted group.
Bronze proof with a richly shaded dark-brown patina.
Lost-wax casting by Albino Palazzolo.
Early edition by Adrien-Aurélien Hébrard, before 1934; from a reputed edition of six.
Signed R. BUGATTI and stamped Cire perdue A.A. HEBRARD in a corner on the terrace, numbered 6
on the edge of the terrace towards the publisher's stamp.
Height: 40.2 cm - Length: 61 cm - Width: 24 cm.
Terrace: 59.8 x 24 cm.
(Worn patina on the backs of the horses).
Provenance: Collection X.; Gironde.
