Ronald-Cecil SPORTES (b. 1943) The model designed for the Mövenpick Hotel at Cap Malabata, Tangier, circa 1999. Post-modern floor lamp forming a bedside table and evoking a Moroccan lantern. The tripod base and upper part in patinated bronze accommodate cylindrical bamboo uprights. The luminaire houses two round glass crotch shelves held in place by cleats also in patinated bronze, and a cylindrical lampshade in leather-wrapped fabric suspended and held in place by springs. Height: 178 cm - Diameter: 43.5 cm.
