Gaston BALANDE (1880-1971) Cliffs of Etreutat, circa 1934 Pastel drawing signed lower right. 45.5 x 47.5 cm. This drawing is a preparatory study for the large canvas that decorated the writing room of the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique liner Normandie. The painting is the property of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, on loan to the Ecomusée de Saint-Nazaire.
