Lourdes, Horgassan, 1911. In-8: 120pp, 2f. 12f. ads; a few illustrations in the text and a double-page map out of the text. ½ green chagrin, gilt title on spine, gilt head. The very rare first edition is from Tarbes (chez Croharé, 1896, in 108 pp.). It is entitled "Guide spécial de la vallée de Barèges..." the rest is identical. It is almost impossible to find. At the end of this guide is published in-extenso and transcribed in full the rare 1798 "Voyage du Bourg des Bains de Barège à Gavernie" by NOGUÈS, but CHAMBERAUD has no knowledge of the author (Labarère 378).
