Contemporary marbled fawn basane, smooth spine decorated, yellow edges speckled with red. Rare first edition. An even rarer second edition appeared in 1843 (Pigoreau, Paris). A "lowland book", but with interesting chapters on little-used subjects and places: Les Pentières, a Toy funeral, bear hunting, Vic-Bigorre, Montaner, Morlàas, Coarraze, etc.
