Reissued in 1878, and in facsimile on the latter in 1986 by the Association Guillaume-Mauran. Cordier (1823-1870), an excellent folklorist, continued his Pyrenean publications with "Le Droit de Famille aux Pyrénées. Barèges, Lavedan, Béarn et Pays-Basque" in 1859, "Superstitions et Légendes des Pyrénées" in 1867, "De l'Organisation de la Famille chez les Basques" in 1869 and "Etude sur le dialecte du Lavedan" in 1878 for his most important works. He collaborated on several occasions with the Société Ramond.
