FABRE (Louis Marie Hyacinthe) Lettres Labourdines ou lettres sur la partie du Pays-Basque appelée le Labourd. Bayonne, Lasserre, 1869. In-8: VIII, 238pp. ½ caramel calf with corners, spine ribbed, gilt title throughout on blond morocco, gilt crowned numeral GL at foot (G. de Lailhacar). A good copy. 7 letters concern Bayonne, including one from the privateer Pellot (Vinson 408)(Barbe 363)(Batcave 426). Provenances: From the library of G. de Lailhacar with his bookplate, and Dominque Goytino (2 bookplates, one on paper, the other on red leather).
