In-8: 1f., 119 pp. Modern burgundy Bradel-style boards, gilt title throughout spine, slight wear at foot. Very rare travel report in the form of letters in prose and verse. The original edition was published in 1821 by Jeulin, imprimerie Dupont, but printed on the same dies without any changes apart from the title and verso of the faux-titre. The second edition (offered here) is just as rare as its predecessor. It should be possible to identify this author by researching the village of Pujeard in Gironde (now Peujeard), where he lived (Labarère 623 ). The trip lasted from October 2 to December 10, 1820. His report, in epistolary form, contains thirteen letters addressed to a merciless deity (several written from Cauterets, Lourdes, Gèdre and Gavarnie).
