Large oblong in-8: title and 16 lithographed plates on tinted ground by Becquet frères in Paris (14 plates for the Basses-Pyrénées, the last 2 on Cauterets). Some foxing. Publisher's red percale, gilt title on front board, series of framed cold fillets, minor bumping to headpieces, one cracked spine at head. Album of diverse composition. Jacques Labarère announces 6 to 16 plates per copy, this one with 14 plates relating to the Basses Pyrénées is among the most complete (Labarère 667)(Jacques Labarère : les albums de lithographies de Pierre Gorse in Pyrénées n° 177 p. 89 à 91).
