Contemporary red morocco, ribbed spine decorated with Toulouse crosses between caissons, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, Toulouse cross at the corners, Languedoc coat of arms in the center, gilt supralibris at the top of the first board, double green title-piece, fillets on the edges, interior roulette, gilt edges. First edition of the minutes of the Estates-General of Languedoc held from December 6, 1786 to January 13, 1787. The edition is followed by two appendices devoted to the sénéchaussées of Carcassonne and Toulouse, paginated separately. A sumptuous present copy in morocco with the arms of Languedoc and the cross of Toulouse, supralibris "given in 1787 by the States of the Province of Languedoc to M. de l'Épinay, fermier général" (i.e. Clément Cugnot de l'Épinay).
