Botany LARRIU (J.) Souvenir des Pyrénées. Botanical herbarium. Slne, sd. In folio: 20 leaves containing 167 plant specimens with common names, scientific names and places of harvest. ½ blue percaline, blue hardback boards, gilt title on upper board in rocaille framing, bumping and rubbing from use, trace of partly missing clasp. Jh. LARRIU was a mineralogist and botanist in Pau and Eaux-Bonnes. His other publications include "Observations à l'appui de la Pétition des Propriétaires de Vignobles des Basses-Pyrénées" (1829) and "Lettre à MM. les Députés du Département des B.P. par M. LARRIU... délégué des Propriétaires des Vignes des B.P.". (published the same year).
