Large in-8: 34pp. Text framed in red. Edition of 50 press copies (no. 5). Bronze morocco, gilt title and finial on lightened spine, inner gilt lace, publisher's beige cover preserved, gilt edges. An eminent personality in the Pyrenees, Baron Bertrand de Lassus, led for many years in the midst of the solitudes the sumptuous existence of a dainty man devoted to the exciting games of hunting and climbing" (Henry Spont).
