[MERCEREAU (Charles)] Views of the Lower Pyrenees. [Paris, Sinnett, Imp. Frick, sd. (circa 1860)]. In-12 oblong presenting 25 lithographed views, heightened in color at the time and gummed. Folded accordion-style in contemporary red ½ percaline boards, title and gilt rocailles framing on upper board, slight rubbing. Pau (3 views) (Bétharram 2), Ossau, Eaux-Bonnes, Eaux-Chaudes, Orthez, Bayonne (3), Biarritz (4), St Jean de Luz (4), Béhobie, environs de Cambo (3), St Jean-Pied de Port. We have another copy on hand with only 24 plates. M. Gaston only mentions "Vues des Hautes Pyrénées" in the same presentation. There are also "Pyrénées en miniature" in a somewhat similar format, but published in Bagnères de Bigorre. (Pyrénéana 3286)
