In-12 oblong presenting 25 lithographed views on tinted background, enhanced in color at the time and gummed. Folded accordion-style in contemporary ½ orange percaline boards, title and rocaille framing in black on upper board. Pau (6 views) (Bétharram 2), Ossau, Eaux-Bonnes, Eaux-Chaudes, Orthez, Bayonne (3), Biarritz (3), St Jean de Luz (4), Béhobie, environs de Cambo (2), St Jean-Pied de Port. Classic Mercereau variant with 6 views of Pau. We have another copy with only 24 plates. M. Gaston only mentions "Vues des Hautes Pyrénées" in the same presentation. There are also "Pyrénées en miniature" in a somewhat similar format, but published in Bagnères de Bigorre.
