Views of the High Pyrenees. [Paris, Sinnett, Imp. Frick, sd. (circa 1860)].
In-12 oblong: 24 views on tinted background, including one double-page spread.
Accordion-mounted in publisher's red cardboard, title and rocaille framing on front cover.
A much less common album than its counterpart entitled "Vues des Basses Pyrénées" (in the same presentation). Marguerite Gaston announces 25 plates, but probably counts the double for 2 plates. There is also "Pyrénées en miniature" in a somewhat similar format, but published in Bagnères de Bigorre (M. Gaston 280).
