MONLEZUN (Jean Justin) canon Histoire de la Gascogne depuis les temps les plus reculés jusqu'à nos jours. Auch, Portes, Brun, Paris, Durand, Dumoulin, Didron, 1846-1849. 6 volumes in-8. The supplement is present at the end of the sixth volume. ½ period brown basane, spine ribbed, gilt title and tomaisons, P.D.M. numeral surmounted by a comtal crown at foot on spine, untrimmed. A very correct copy. Copy complete with supplement. An important and much sought-after work. Born in Saramon in 1800, this Gers native taught before being appointed canon. He lived mainly in Auch, where he died in 1859.
