2 volumes bound in an in-8 volume: 2f., 392pp. - 2f., 438pp.
½ contemporary fawn calf, smooth spine, fawn titles and endpapers, gilt fillets, yellow edges.
The subtitle Nouvelles Béarnaises is not appropriate.
The letter on Bigorre concerns only the Hautes Pyrénées. The Alban novel is set in Bagnères and Campan. As for the Nouvelles Béarnaises, the protagonists travel from Bizanos to Navarre via Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. They relate episodes from the Carlist War.
