Contemporary ½ brown chagrin, gilt title on spine, super-libris with gilt numeral surmounted by a comtal crown at foot, slight rubbing.
Numerous depictions of objects, pottery and jewelry found during excavations. In 1896, this general published a booklet entitled "Les Cromlechs du plateau de Ger", and in the 1880s-90s, various publications on the antiquities of Nîmes.
Provenance: Count Louis de Germont's cypher from the Château de Labatut-Rivière.
