Pau, Garet-Haristoy, 1929. Large in-8: 38pp; folding map "Peyre Sen Marti" by Léon Maury (provisional edition of December 16, 1928 - Barrère cartographe à Paris). Copy with photo of Ch. Cadart and the Comte de Saint-Saud (print by Maurice Heïd), a letter from the Comte to Joseph Cazevielle (guide and owner of the hut where Saint Saud had camped) in which he recommends Cadart to help him with his climbs, notes from the Comte concerning the route to Peyre, photos of Saint Saud from the Pierre Saint Martin marker (one of which was used as an illustration for the brochure) and a meeting of various excursionists at Peyre (shot by the Comte). ½ brick morocco à la Bradel signed MONTECOT, long gilt title on spine, publisher's brick cover retained. A good copy. Enclosed: Société Julien Sacaze et des Amis de Luchon: Les centenaires des officiers des cartes des Pyrénées.
