Contemporary red morocco, ornate ribbed spine, triple gilt fillet on covers, gilt fillet on edges, inner gilt roulette, gilt edges. A fine copy. Rare first edition not referenced by Labarère. Handwritten note on title page stating that the work was given in Lyon in 1784 by the Inspector of Civil Hospitals.
