In-8: 622pp, 1f; 5 sepia plates and a color map out of text, numerous illustrations in text. ½ green basane with corners, ornate spine, publisher's cover preserved. Uncommon first edition. The second is from 1966. An excellent and much sought-after work (Labarère 1479).
