[COCHINCHINE] French Cochinchina. Excursions and Reconnaissance. Saigon, imp. du Gouvernement, 1879-87. 15 volumes in 14 in-8 volumes. From n°1, December 1879 to 1890 (volume XV). Numerous fold-out plates. Two volumes show varying degrees of paper alterations due to insect trimming [volume XII (1886) in foot margins without text alterations, and volumes XIV-XV (1889-90) on around 150 pages (in margins, with partial text alterations in areas)]. ½ period brown chagrin, gilt title and endpapers on spine.
