A very fine copy in a contemporary binding. Uncommon. 90 pages of Volume I are devoted to Béarn and all of Volume II to the Pyrenees. This Russian senator (1777-1826) undertook his trip to the Pyrenees in 1822. He wrote perfect French in the purest Restoration style. Beraldi catalogued it definitively as "Dusaulx style".
